Movie Night – July 19, 2019

Friday, July 19 attend movie night at West Milwaukee Intermediate School.

No Drive – In, no problem! The West Allis-West Milwaukee Recreation & Community Services Department in partnership with the Village of West Milwaukee will be hosting Movie Night, Friday, July 19th at West Milwaukee Intermediate School 5104 West Greenfield Avenue, on the green space starting sharply at 7 pm. Family Movie Night is a free event and we hope you and your family join us for a memorable community night.

The Family Movie Night will kick-off at 6 pm with the WAWM RCS Dept.’s mobile playground, Operation Recreation. Operation Recreation is composed of a variety of activities such as obstacle courses, Imagination Playground, Hula Hoops, agility ladder, a bubble machine and so much more for all ages. “Families have a blast with Operation Recreation because the fun is unlimited, parents are even encouraged to participate in the fun,” says Program Manager, Amanda Schwichtenberg.

We will be using a LED screen; it is a smaller scale of the scoreboard at Miller Park. The screen allows us to start showing the movie at 7 pm, even with the sun setting, the quality of the picture will not be impacted.

We invite families to arrive earlier than the movie start time to save your spots on the football field, please bring lawn chairs and/or blankets, and to join in on the fun with Operation Recreation.

Please contact the WAWM RCS Dept. at 414-604-4900 starting Friday, July 12th to discover the movie title for the evening.
